The year that has passed, 2022, has been a year of recovery and renewed strength for PLAI and all of us librarians.
Guided by our vision and core values, as a strong and dynamic association committed to the advancement of the practice of librarianship towards national development by promoting the interest and welfare of its members, and develop capacities for quality library and information service, with one goal: Constant and never-ending involvement of library professionals in [support of] the activities, programs, and projects of the Association.
We at the National Board of Trustees (NBOT) feel immensely blessed to be able to end the year strong and poised to capture opportunities the new year brings, specially we are celebrating our centennial this 2023.
This year has been a year of changes and challenges for many Filipinos. Looking back, we forged on and surpassed these, together.
With your continued trust and support, 2023 promises to be an exciting year for PLAI.
Let’s continue what we started together — let’s help build a better practice for Philippine registered librarians — one family, one community, one PLAI at a time.
